Bethlehem Tertiary Institute

Bethlehem Tertiary Institute is the tertiary arm of the Bethlehem Campus, which, as a multi-faceted enterprise owned by the Christian Education Trust, has a mission to provide Christ-centred educational programmes from the cradle to eternity. It was established in 1993.

The Institute offers degree and diploma programmes in teaching, counselling and family studies, desiring to equip students for professional roles in schools, early childhood centres, and church and community agencies throughout NZ and abroad. A Christian perspective, small classes, a relational model, and a commitment to quality of content, delivery and standards are distinctive attributes of the Bethlehem Tertiary Institute.

Christian perspectives are analysed and integrated across all programmes in a thoughtful and considered way. Research is focussed on education and the helping professions.
