ITI Newsletter - June 2010

Good afternoon and welcome to the June 2010 newsletter from Independent Tertiary Institutions (ITI). ITI is a peak industry body representing a diverse range of large, high-quality Private Training Establishments (PTEs) around New Zealand. Each month, this newsletter looks to highlight student and staff success at our member institutions.

In this issue, New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA) signs collaborative partnerships with an university and an ITP to create new pathways for their learners. Students from the International Travel College (ITC) again worked at the TRENZ Tradeshow and gained valuable real-life experience at this major tourism event.

Two students from Media Design School (MDS) have struck gold with a seriously cool advertising campaign for a new computer game. There is a link to a video demonstrating their infectious work. Congratulation to The Learning Connexion (TLC) which won the Accessibility Award during the recent New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) week.

Finally, a flying visit has further encouraged students from Beijing Schools to student early childhood education at the New Zealand Career College (NZCC). Enjoy the newsletter, reader feedback is always welcome.
