ITI Newsletter - May 2010
Good afternoon and welcome to the May 2010 edition of the ITI Newsletter. Each month, Independent Tertiary Institutions (ITI) uses this publication to highlight student and staff success in our member organisations. ITI is a recognised peak body representing a range of established private tertiary providers who share a commitment to quality and learner outcomes.
In this issue, a student from Natcoll Design Technology wins the People's Choice section of the 'Design Your Own Radio' competition. The winning entry can be viewed on-line. Graduates from the Bethlehem Tertiary Institute (BTI) march through town to mark their graduation. Over 80% of them will be working in their chosen fields within three months of completing their courses.
Students from New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA) demonstrated their flair and creativity at a major table setting competition. The International Travel College (ITC) encourages its student to have fun and develop teamwork while studying for a career in travel and tourism.
Finally in this issue, we present a short profile of a student from New Zealand Career College (NZCC) who is working with students who have special needs as part of a Practicum.
