ITI Newsletter - July 2011
Good morning and welcome to the July 2011 Newsletter from Independent Tertiary Institutions (ITI), a recognised industry peak representing fifteen large, high-quality Private Training Establishments (PTEs) around the country. ITI members teach a diverse range of subjects - from animation to welding, from tourism to fine arts - but all are student-focused and committed to results. We will shortly be launching a new-look website and electronic newsletter.
In this issue, Natcoll Design Technology has announced that it will progressively rename and re-brand to YOOBEE Design School by the start of next year. This will put it in line with the eleven other companies in the Renaissance Group. The International Travel College (ITC) is a finalist in two categories at the Auckland South Business Awards. Having won two awards last year, ITC is now a finalist for Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality, and Excellence in Marketing.
Students from the Media Design School (MDS) have won the Animated Auckland contest with their 3D animation project called "First Contact." Finally for this issue, a group of students from New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA) Auckland South raised over $800 for a local toddler who tragically contracted meningitis.
