Pacific International Hotel Management School

The Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS) is dedicated to the hospitality industry by further building the standards of hotel management within New Zealand and globally. It aims to meet the demand for specialised hospitality management education and training by producing graduates with professional and personal skills at the highest level. Paid industry placement semesters, in New Zealand or globally, are an integral element of the programmes. The School is based in New Plymouth.

The growth of the School, since its original establishment and accreditation in 1995, has enabled the expansion of courses to encompass programmes from First Diploma in Hospitality through Advanced Diploma & Swiss Diploma in Hotel Management to the sought after PIHMS Bachelor in Applied Hospitality & Tourism Management and Post Graduate Diploma. PIHMS is a founding member of the ORION Alliance of Hotel Schools and operates joint ventures with numerous other tertiary institutions in NZ and globally.
