The following is a note from ITI's Chairperson, Tim Cullinane.

Dave Guerin

As readers will be aware, our Executive Director, Dave Guerin of Education Directions, has accepted a full-time job with ITPNZ commencing early August. As a consequence, Dave has resigned as ITI Executive Director.

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of ITI to thank Dave for the enormous contribution he has made to ITI and to the PTE sector as a whole over the past several years. We wish him every continued success in his new position.

New Executive Director

Following on from the above, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Miller as ITI Executive Director. Neil has an extensive background in policy analysis and development, and communication, particularly in education. This background will enable him to represent the interests of our students, ITI members and other stakeholders in the PTE sector going forward.

Neil and Dave will work together over the next two months to ensure a smooth handover of ITI responsibilities, with Neil taking charge from 6 August 2007.
