Michele Whitecliffe Elected to International Board Tuesday December 18, 2007

Michele Whitecliffe, President and Co-founder of Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the International Council of Fine Arts Deans (ICFAD) for a two-year term.  She is the only international member on the new board.

This appointment is not only a compliment to Michele, it also reflects positively on the college.

ICFAD is an alliance of arts administrators representing institutions of higher education. At present it has 390 active members from throughout the States, Canada, Australia, Korea, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates.

ICFAD is committed to fostering the highest standards in the profession, encouraging global understanding and cooperation, providing services to its members, and offering leadership for the arts in society.  ICFAD provides leadership in arts education, offers a forum for the exchange of ideas and information, and addresses issues of common concern.
