Whitecliffe Scholarships Announced Friday March 28, 2008

The recipients of Whitecliffe College of Art and Design's Undergraduate and Postgraduate First Year Scholarships for 2008 have just been publicly announced by the Chief Executive, Dr John Shaw. 

Each year Whitecliffe offers 25 Undergraduate and 6 Postgraduate 1-year Scholarships to eligible first year students who, in the minds of the selection panel, best demonstrate academic excellence, creative innovation and artistic expression, all-round ability, and leadership potential during their admission interviews.

The scholarships range in value from $1,000 for undergraduate scholarships to $2,000 for postgraduate scholarships and are used to offset student tuition fees.

The recipients for 2008 were:

George Pearce First Year Scholarships – for full-time students seeking to enter the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programme (25 Scholarships offered)
