Media Design School Students Win Challenge Thursday October 30, 2008

Media Design School students Kyle Meszaros and Kevin Cooper of Graphic Design Feb08 have taken top honours at this year’s Auckland Ymedia Awards for their work in rebranding the North Shore Community & Social Services Group.

Kyle and Kevin worked with the team at NSCC (now Community Connections) to find a new name, design and produce a logo, printed branding material and a fully functioning website.

Their outstanding work and dedication earned them the big prize of a total $2,000 plus $400 from Telecom. Kyle was also awarded an internship with Chrome Toaster which he can start once he has finished at MDS.

“We absolutely enjoyed working with (the NSCC team). They are very open-minded about all these new technologies and supported our every move. It was a fun and efficient collaboration.” Kyle and Kevin say they will continue to assist the group in the future.
