ITI Welcomes New Zealand Career College Monday January 26, 2009

ITI is delighted to welcome the New Zealand Career College (NZCC) as a member.  The College has approx 450 students studying a range of courses from level 2 to level 6 in early childhood education, health studies, trades, computing, English and business. NZCC has three campuses in Auckland at Manukau, New Lynn, and Takapuna and one campus in Christchurch.

Early childhood education is one of the college’s strengths and, in addition to the certificates, it offers a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Pasifika) Level 5. The college has established early childhood education pathways to degree programmes at a number of New Zealand universities and polytechnics and plans to extend accreditation to offer diploma and degree programmes in early childhood and business management.

Another key strength of the college is its caring and supportive learning environment, and it has a real commitment to the pastoral care of international students, ensuring all their needs are fully met and their health, safety and wellbeing is well managed while they study in New Zealand.

NZCC CEO Feroz Ali (pictured) says, “We are delighted to join ITI, as NZCC looks for closer working relationships within the PTE sector and more focused representation for entities that are growing or of a significant size. Having being involved in peak bodies through my involvement in PITPONZ, I have seen strong representation by Neil and Tim with important issues surrounding PTEs, which gives me comfort that NZCC will be fairly represented.”

A very warm welcome to New Zealand Career College!
