New Zealand Management Academies’ new website has just gained international acclaim at one of the world’s most prestigious web competitions.

www.nzma.ac.nz was awarded Silver in the Education Category at the recent W3 Web Awards, a competition that aims to honour outstanding websites, web advertising and web videos from around the globe.

More than 3000 websites entered the event and NZMA was one of just a handful of New Zealand-based websites to be recognised.

“This is a huge achievement for everyone involved in the creation of our site,” says NZMA Group Marketing Advisor, Anita Collins.  

“This recognition puts us on the map and it is great to know we are a step ahead of our competitors, both in New Zealand and internationally.”

The W3 is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of Visual Arts, an invitation-only body of top-tier professionals from the world’s best media, advertising and marketing firms.  Members include executives from companies such as Disney, Estee Lauder, Monster.com, MTV and Yahoo!  

“Recognition from the Academy proves that we are delivering what young people are looking for,” says Anita.
