Natcoll’s C4 Competition Success
Wednesday December 16, 2009
Television station C4 is moving away from being a purely music station and is focusing on becoming a general entertainment channel with a defined youth focus. C4 ran a competition to produce an ident (a television station’s identification by means of a call sign or brand name) reflecting its change in direction.
Natcoll students from across all three campuses entered the competition. Students worked closely together to create a consistent branding theme, and to keep it simple and in line with the current look of a limited colour palette with vector based drawings. The overall winner was Video Post Production student William Littlejohn from Natcoll's Auckland campus. Seventeen other Natocoll students’ entries were also considered good enough to go to air. You can see them on C4 over the next few weeks or visit C4's website to view them all.
