AXIS Adschool Scores Highly In Singapore Saturday September 24, 2005

AXIS Adschool students scored numerous hits in the Crowbars- Singapore international student ad creativity competition on Friday 23 September 2005. AXIS Adschool at Media Design School is a revolutionary course based entirely on the incubation and development of great ideas and is fully integrated with New Zealand's top creative agencies.

The awards were as follows, with almost as many finalists as well:

  • Gold - Copywriting - The Art of Auckland City - Anastasia Doniants and Stefan Tarr
  • Silver - Direct Mail - Top Trumps, Laura Cameron and Matthias May
  • Silver - Ambient Media - Gravestones, Leon Hayward
  • Silver - Games Goliath, Gordon Smith, Phillip Mayes, Stephen Harris, Rob Haines, Cameron Hart, Darius Malloy, Stephen McIntyre, Daniel Silk, Nikolai Gregory, Xian Guan, Karl Lodge, Robert Green
  • Bronze - Direct Mail - Newspaper Wraps, Laura Cameron and Matthias May
  • Bronze - Radio Scripts - Get your money’s worth, Henry Kember
  • Bronze - Integrated Campaign - Make yourself mighty, Laura Cameron and Matthias May
  • Bronze - Copywriting - Top Trumps, Laura Cameron and Matthias May
  • Bronze - Art Direction - The Art of Auckland City - Anastasia Doniants and Stefan Tarr
  • Bronze - 3D Animation -The Artist, Simon Heath

David Bell, AXIS Adschool Course Leader, wrote “It’s always gratifying to be part of anything that contributes to NZ’s international creative status.
