Change Training Consultants, an online education provider (and ITI member), has just established their first offshore delivery partnership with a company in India. An agreement was signed with the International College of Financial Planning (ICFP), based in New Delhi, India.
Paramdip Singh, General Manager – International Development at Change Training (right in photo) and Sanjiv Bajaj, Managing Director ICFP, (centre) signed the deal on 8 November at New Delhi in the presence of the NZ High Commissioner Graham Walters (left), and NZTE Trade Commissioner Paul Vaughan.
Mr Singh says, "The partnership has the potential to benefit the NZ economy by several million dollars and will increase the flow of international students to Change Training’s partner TEO.”
ICFP is an associate company of Bajaj Capital, a renowned business house in the field of Financial Services in India. ICFP will start delivering business and management online programmes from February 2007 (subject to necessary accreditations).
Grant Hodgson, Managing Director of Change Training said, “We are looking forward to working with ICFP on the detailed implementation of this agreement to build a sustainable business partnership, that makes a real contribution to the educational, social, and environmental welfare of both of our countries.”
A special celebration ceremony was held in Wellington at Turnbull House on 8 December.
