Welcome to the June 2008 newsletter from Independent Tertiary Institutions (ITI). This issue features four stories showcasing the educational success of ITI's diverse members.
On Tuesday 1 July, New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA) will celebrate the opening of their new Anzac Ave academy in Auckland with an open day celebrating the cultural diversity of their students.
A team from the Media Design School has won the animation section of the 48HOURS furious film-making competition. Two fashion students from the Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design were invited to display their work at a prominent Sydney event.
Finally, four game development graduates from the Media Design School have been quickly snapped up by New Zealand's largest games studio, Sidhe Interactive.
These stories demonstrate that the education provided by ITI members is valued by the students and industry.
