Welcome to the October edition of the Independent Tertiary Institutions (ITI) newsletter. This month is a bumper edition with five articles celebrating the successes of ITI members.
The Learning Connexion's own Jonathan Milne is a finalist in the Business section of the Wellingtonian of the Year Awards. ITI wishes Jonathan the very best in his quest to win a coveted "Welly"! Students from the Media Design School have continued their winnings way with success at the Auckland Ymedia awards recently.
Natcoll have finialised an important agreement with the International Academy of Film and Television in the Philippines. There is also the welcome news that students studying Early Childhood Education at PTEs will be now be able to access scholarships. ITI congratulates the Government on reversing earlier decisions and doing the right thing.
Finally in this issue, Red Fish - the employment arm of New Zealand Management Academies - is profiled on the Management Focus website.
