Hello and welcome to the July 2009 edition of the Independent Tertiary Institutions (ITI) Newsletter. Our monthly newsletter showcases the success of learners at ITI members and provides a heads-up on some coming events which are open to the public. These are a chance to see first-hand the quality of the education being provided.
In this edition, the International Travel College continues their run at the Manukau Business Excellence Awards by being named a finalist in no less than three categories this year. Students from the Media Design School gain international recognition by picking up an award at a prestigious German animation awards.
In a similar vein but for a different medium, a Natcoll graduate has starred at the print "Oscars". Redfish employment service is running a series of employment fairs so NZMA students can meet Auckland business and hospitality employers.
